I think we're only seeing the beginning of a
larger explosion in interactivity and that these actions are a just the
tip of the iceberg. This is definitely a more digestible
hierarchy for understanding how people bahave with content. And
as we rope in the less technically inclined user base into a more
engaged online experience the industry must find ways to simplify what
people can do with content.
For example, is there a way to explain to my
mother why tagging is going to make her life better? I guess the
tools will prove it first. And I suppose nobody ever explained to
her why an operating system was going to make her life better, either.
